Cayin iDAC-6MK2, the second generation of a secure value

The Cayin iDAC-6MK2 comes to the market to replace the first generation iDAC and brings important new features and improvements, with the aim of offering the quality that your music deserves.

With a new DAC, a new stage and tube amplification, the ability to decode DSD512 and PCM, as well as new and multiple connections, make the iDAC-6MK2 the perfect alternative for those looking for a high-performance stationary DAC.

A renewed heart

The Cayin iDAC-6MK2 takes a step forward and goes for a new 32-bit, 8-channel ES9028Pro DAC.

Demanded by the most enthusiasts, this chip has the ability to support high-resolution formats such as DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32Bit, as well as achieving a dynamic range of 129dB.

The Cayin iDAC-6MK2 delivers the best possible performance for your headphones, and is complemented by a dedicated amplifier to match.

Put the sound seal

In its amplification stage, we find a tube structure formed by four 6H16B type tubes, which achieve superior amplification in both standard and balanced output, and which is ideal for reproducing the most demanding audio formats.

This Cayin iDAC-6MK2 has two different aspects: acting as a standard DAC through its line output and a dedicated preamplifier output. In the first of them, figures of 2.V for normal output and 4.4V for balanced XLR output are reached, while in its Pre Out section, which can act as a speaker amplifier, figures of 7V for normal output and up to 13V for balanced XRL are reached.

The DAC that works with everything

Composed of 6 digital inputs, the Cayin iDAC-6MK2 covers all user connection modes.

The device has optical, USB audio, RCA coaxial, BNC coaxial, I2S and AES/EBU connections, in addition to the power supply connector, analog RCA and XLR balanced connection.

Premium construction quality

Another aspect that has been improved in this new version of the iDAC-6 is its build quality and external elements.

The device is built through a CNC machined aluminum process, which in addition to providing elegance and visual coherence, manages to reduce possible sound interference.

On the other hand, a new 3.9' AMOLED display is introduced, to identify the DAC status and to allow you to manage and visualize the interface as you wish.
