1Single Ended Vacuum Tube Bell

The first stage of the wooden circuit consists of two triodes operating in parallel inside the 6H6b-B tube as a cathode follower. This will improve current drivability and reduce noise. A Vishay fast switching low resistance MOSFET is connected in series as a second stage voltage follower.

In its balanced part, the two triode tubes inside the 6H6b-B cathode follower are responsible for current amplification and driving of the positive and negative phase of the same channel respectively.

High-performance, dual-channel, low-noise operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments are used in the solid-state ring circuit. The single-ended circuit requires only one op amp, while the balanced circuit involves two pieces.

AKM's new AK4191 + AK4499EX flaghsip chipset was used to handle the digital-to-analog conversion function.

With two AK4499EX, one for each channel, the DAC will always operate in MONO mode, delivering the full potential of the chipset in a fully balanced circuit.

The Cayin iDAC-8 is a new member of Cayin's i-series products, sharing a unified design language with the iDAP-8 digital streamer and iHA-8 amplifier. Each product can be used separately or combined to form a set.

It has a small and compact body, making it easy to place and combine with other home or desktop audio devices. With L-shaped aluminum cover plate, precision mold extrusion, CNC precision machining, fine sandblasting and surface anodizing treatment, the amplifier has a uniform and delicate texture, which makes it durable over time.

The left and right side panels are designed as ribbed heat sinks. The additional surface area improves heat exchanges and thermal dissipation capacity. Optimized operating conditions allow the DAC to deliver its best performance.
