The Cayin iDAP-8 is an Android-based digital music streamer with a desktop design.

Cayin insists on designing and building transformers because they play a vital role in audio equipment. The 45W toroidal transformer in iDAP-8 is wound with high-purity enameled copper wire and coupled with specialized shielding packaging. We have also introduced numerous circuit protection measures into our design. These techniques will reduce magnetic interference and dramatically protect the circuit from noise interference.

The iDAP-8 is a new member of the Cayin i-series products and shares a unified design language with the iDAC-8 digital-to-analog converter and iHA-8 headphone amplifier. Each product can be used individually or combined to form a set.
It has a small and compact body, making it easy to place and combine with other home audio or desktop devices. With an L-shaped aluminum cover plate, mold extrusion precision, CNC precision machining, fine sandblasting and anodized surface treatment, the digital streamer has a uniform and delicate texture, making it durable over time.
The left and right side panels are designed as ridged heat sinks. The additional surface area improves heat exchanges and improves heat dissipation capacity.
