The FiiO M17 is a desktop-grade smart player, which is a new chapter in the history of FiiO players. Its desktop-grade DAC, amplification and power supply give you amplification power and sound quality that rivals and even surpasses many of the highly acclaimed desktop systems, but in a portable format.

Both the left and right channels feature an independent 8-channel ES9038PRO model unit, a desktop range DAC and Sabre's flagship.
This means that each audio channel has 8 parallel outputs that are summed together for superior resolution and minimal distortion for extremely pure audio reproduction.
Desktop-grade amplification also plays a very important role in the FiiO M17. FiiO and THX have teamed up to develop the exclusive THX AAA-788+, an upgraded version of the original op-amp. Compared to the original, the output power has been increased by 225% to 3000mW per channel with a lower output impedance, allowing you to move any type of headphones effortlessly.
Using the battery the M17 has 4 gain levels: low, mid, high and headphone mode. When connected to AC power, the enhanced Over Ear headphone mode is unlocked with a true desktop grade amplifier gain level. Through the balanced output the gain can go up to 16dB allowing the M17 to drive almost any headphone.
Thanks to its large size, the FiiO M17 features a wide range of connectivity that conveniently adapts to various usage scenarios:
The M17 has two power supplies. One is battery powered and the other is powered when connected to the mains.
The battery power supply allows the M17 to be used in situations where there is no access to mains power.
When connected to the mains, the voltage in the analog circuit is increased by 35% to 11.5V compared to battery operation. In this mode, in addition, the battery life is increased as it is not constantly in use.
With exceptional audio quality comes high power consumption, therefore heat dissipation was one of the targets when designing the M17. Not only H-type heat dissipation and VC liquid cooling are adopted, but the 151g aluminum unibody chassis also contributes effectively in transferring heat away from the device.
Finally, a fan support has also been developed to dissipate heat more quickly.
Inside the M17 are 17 gold immersion finished PCBs, with the analog and digital section physically separated so that they are on two different boards to reduce interference between them.
7 high conductivity copper alloy shields provide isolation to reduce internal and external electromagnetic interference on analog audio signals inside the M17.
The design of the M17 took 1.5 years to complete, going through 6 design iterations and 12 rounds of internal design optimization. The result is a device that optimizes its internal space excellently. Inside the M17 are two backplanes, one digital or analog fixed with stainless steel hexagons which has allowed FiiO engineers to store twice as much electronics as can normally be done in such limited space.
The futuristic design of its CNC-finished aluminum unibody chassis evokes a technological marvel. The angular lines inspired by the body's mechanical design, its buttons and atmospheric lights give the M17 a bold and charismatic aura.
The volume can be adjusted using its analog potentiometer or the buttons. Quickly and easily cycle through its 120 volume levels with either method.
The M17 includes 7-color RGB ambient lighting with extensive customization options. Colors can be customized to be fixed or to follow audio or a cycle. The brightness of the ambient lighting can change depending on voltage, volume or temperature power. Finally, both the top and side have ambient lights that can be controlled separately, allowing you to adjust them to your liking.

Llevaba un tiempo detrás de este reproductor, e tenido que esperar a este Black Friday para conseguirlo a un gran precio muy bueno, poco más se puede decir de este maravilloso DAP, si quieres el mejor sonido en tus auriculares este es sin duda el producto que necesitas y mas si lo quieres llevar de un sitio a otro. Un dato que hay que tener en cuenta de este Dap es que si lo vas a usar con auriculares que sean muy dificiles de amplificar te recomendaría para ese propósito la alternativa de escritorio en este caso seria el Fiio R9 por lo demás el M17 es una bestia.

Reproductor de máxima calidad. Saca mucho mejor partido de mis auriculares. Yo ya creía tener uno de los mejores rendimientos, y con el nuevo fiio he descubierto mejoras de sonido notables en las canciones que escuchaba en mi anterior reproductor. Una pasada!
Es un equipo con grandes prestaciones. Esteticamente me encanta. Sonido inmejorable. Lo he escuchado con Audeze mm 500 y Audeze LCD XC Carbon Tamaño suficientemente compacto para transporte fácil. De escritorio a sillon y para desplazamientos. Para pasear excesivamente grande, pero tampoco lo hago con los Carbon. Todo el servicio de Zococity genial. Alex excelente consejero, técnicamente preparadísimo y muy atento y gran amabilidad.
