The FiiO Q7 is equipped to handle any situation. It includes USB, optical and coaxial inputs; 2 single-ended outputs (6.35mm and 3.5mm) and 2 balanced outputs (4.4mm and 2.5mm) as well as LO output.
The 5-stage audio circuit features 20 LDOs and a 470 mF high-capacity ultra-low ESR supercapacitor to provide infinite power reserves.
With this, the Q7 can operate in DC or battery-powered mode. In battery-powered mode, the 9200 mAh battery is up to the task of allowing the amplifier to generate up to 1500mW of power. In DC power supply mode, the battery is omitted to protect battery life.
FiiO's exclusive digital control has been developed for this device. This control chip is powered by an ARM Cortex M4 processor to efficiently handle tasks such as clock management, USB decoding and optical decoding to optimize sound quality.
The digital and analog sections are physically separated on different boards with protective covers for an extremely pure sound.

Un producto muy versátil y de muy buena calidad. El sonido ha ido mejorando con el uso, se ha redondeado y tiene más cuerpo (será el rodaje), es neutro y muy transparente. Utilizo la salida balanceada de 2'5 con unos viejos sennheiser HD 540 de 300 ohmios y no se calienta demasiado, incluso conectado a la red. Tuve algún problema con el móvil que se solucionó poniendo el micro interruptor posterior en cc, también tenía desconectada la carga por USB. Normalmente utilizo la entrada coaxial junto con un reproductor ibasso dx120, lógicamente, el sonido es otra cosa.
Un dispositivo interesante por la multifunción que tiene. Una importante y no muy común es poder conectar dos auriculares a la vez (o por balanceada o por SE). En cuanto a calidad de sonido, no llega al nivel de mi Questyle CMA400i, pero quizás con una buena fuente de alimentación lineal mejoraría. Sólo me da algún problema con Audirvana en MQA. Tengo que revisar si es configuración del software o un fallo del Q7. Si veo que persiste llamaré a Zococity.
De todos modos una buena compra.
