The Theva N1 are available in the elegant and refined Black, Dark Wood, and Light Wood finishes. The wood effect of the side panels provides a warm tone. The Slatefiber membrane, exclusive to Focal and manufactured in France, is made from recycled carbon fibers that are applied as a filler sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. Our engineers, in their search for perfection, have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers oriented in the same direction to achieve greater rigidity, better cushioning and lightness, the "essentials" of a great speaker.
This exclusive membrane, which has been renewed to reproduce a rich, dynamic and balanced sound, is present in numerous Focal products in our home, studio and car audio lines.
The TNF aluminum/magnesium tweeter, manufactured in France by Focal, features an inverted dome and delivers clear and smooth highs. The suspension linking the dome to its support uses a memory foam material called Poron. This suspension is derived directly from the famous Utopia beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion by one third between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz, the range of high sensitivity to the ear. This Focal tweeter guarantees an incredibly stable sound environment.
