The French-made Theva N°2 boasts a design with delicate and elegant details. With an additional front, elegant black or smooth wood finishes, metal and screen-printed rings, a magnetic protector and rear positioning of the decompression window, a high level of elegance is achieved in every detail.
The aluminum/magnesium TNF Tweeter, made in France by Focal, features an inverted dome and offers clear and smooth treble. The suspension that connects the dome to its support uses a memory foam material called Poron.
This suspension is derived directly from Utopia's famous beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion by a third, between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz, the high sensitivity range of the ear. This Focal tweeter guarantees an incredibly stable sound environment.
The Slatefiber membrane, exclusive to Focal and manufactured in France, is made from recycled carbon fibers that are applied as a filler sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. Our engineers, in their search for perfection, have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers oriented in the same direction to achieve greater rigidity, better damping and lightness, the "must haves" of a great speaker.
This exclusive membrane, which has been renewed to reproduce a rich, dynamic and balanced sound, is present in numerous Focal products in our home, studio and car audio lines.
