The HiBy R2 II is the new generation of the best-selling HiBy R2, one of the most compact Hi-Res players on the market. The main new feature of this second version is the upgrade of its DAC chip with the ES9219C model and its ability to play DSD256 and PCM384, as well as MQA 8X.

The HiBy R2 II mounts an ESS ES91219C DAC chip capable of decoding native DSD256 and 32bit/384kHz PCM, as well as all high-resolution audio formats such as Mp3, WAV, APE, FLAC, DSF, DFF, ISO, CUE, WMA, OGG, AAC, OPUS and AIFF.
The R2 II features dual Hi-Res and Hi-Res wireless certification. It is also capable of moving 8x MQA files providing master-quality audio reconstitution for richer sound reproduction as intended, in an experience that will take you to a live concert.
HiByOS is an operating system developed in-house by HiBy for high-fidelity audio devices, optimized for audio processing from scratch and with infinite possibilities of use.
MSEB is HiBy's in-house developed audio processor, designed to bring out what audiophiles want most in their music, through anti-slip on-screen controls.
The HiByLink feature is industry-leading: control playback, volume and manage the R2 playlist on the big screen of your smartphone via the HiByMusic app for Android and iPhone.
With the R2 II you will be able to access streaming platforms such as Tidal, Qobuz and Internet Radio.
