Using NAD HybridDigital UcD amplification technology, the C 3050 features 100W per channel of continuous power and 135W peak power for seamless reproduction of even the most demanding passages.
Noise and distortion are virtually non-existent across the entire bandwidth, achieving neutral, distortion-free sound at any speaker load and even at high volumes.
The powerful digital section is provided by the Texas Instruments PCM5242 High Resolution Differential DAC, a design recognized for its excellent dynamics and immunity to jitter to ensure that all digital sources are reproduced accurately, clearly and a breathtaking acoustic scene is achieved.
The NAD C 3050 features the latest generation of MDC2 anti-obsolescence technology. The second generation of Model Design Construction allows users to add new functionality by inserting compatible modules into the rear panel.
The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module offers two exciting features: high-resolution BluOS music streaming and Dirac Live room correction.
With its full catalog of analog and digital inputs, the C 3050 has room for multiple sources. Inputs include ultra-low-noise MM phono input for turntables, HDMI eARC, coaxial, digital optical and a pair of line-level analogue inputs. Users can connect two pairs of speakers with the A/B switch, as well as a subwoofer.
The C 3050 also has a dedicated headphone amplifier, pre-out jack to connect to a more powerful amplifier, or the option to be used alone as a preamplifier. The C 3050 includes an IR remote control and has functions designed for installers such as 12V trigger and IR output.
