D90LE is Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC certified. It uses the CSR8675 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/ SBC/APTX/APTX LL/APTX HD protocol.
To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandoned the CSR8675's built-in DAC and connected its digital signal to the ES9038PRO for decoding.
D90LE has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10 and above, MAC, Linux, IOS, Android can be plug and play. Only for Windows ASIO applications, you must install the driver and configure it.
D90LE uses second generation XMOS, USB supports up to PCM32bit768kHz and native DSD512. With the help of the custom Thesycon ASIO driver (for Win 10 and above), your PC will function as a HIFI source (Mac does not need a driver to achieve ASIO).
When there is a better interface, you can use the HDMI cable to directly send the IIS signal to the ESS9038PRO of D90LE for better decoding.
The IIS input can support up to PCM32bit768kHz and DSD512native. The IIS input provides phase configurations, DSD channel configurations and DSD indicator pin selection configurations, which are compatible with most digital interfaces on the market that use the HDMI interface to output IIS signals.
This function uses only the HDMI interface to transmit the IIS signal instead of the standard HDMI signals. Therefore, it cannot be used for the HDMI interface of PC, TV and set-top box.
D90LE has balanced XLR output and single-ended RCA output. You can choose "XLR only", "RCA only" or "XLR+ RCA" output for different applications.
We understand that in addition to the more versatile 4V XLR and 2V RCA outputs, there is also a great need for 5V XLR and 2.5V RCA. D90LE adds options to configure this to meet a wider range of needs. When XLR 4V and RCA 2V are selected, more devices can be adapted; when XLR 5V and RCA 2.5V are selected, performance will increase end-to-end.
In addition to the DAC mode with a fixed output level, the D90LE also has a DAC+preamplifier mode. In this mode, you can control the output volume on the front panel or on the remote control.
