The HS01 effectively reduces the noise introduced by the ground loop into the audio signal. It can reduce it by up to 50db.

Always connected

When the HS01 exceeds the power supply capabilities of the device to which it is connected, an external power supply can be connected to it. It is recommended to use ground isolated power supplies such as a modern cell phone charger, for example. Linear power supplies are not recommended.
