The Topping PA7 uses a new Class D amplifier circuit with a variety of unique optimization techniques, which has a powerful low distortion performance and power output.
These technologies ensure clearer, cleaner and deeper sound without any background noise. In addition, the balanced structure can reduce various noises during transmission, enabling better audio source performance.
PA7's distortion performance is on par with the best DACs. In the Topping line, distortion is kept extremely low before clipping. This ensures constant listening pleasure at all volume levels.
The Topping PA7 amplifier is less than half the size of an A4 sheet of paper, but is capable of delivering 210 W x 2 into a 4-ohm load with 10% distortion. If the higher standard 1% distortion is used as a requirement, the 4-ohm load will generate 200 W x 2. Furthermore, these high power outputs and low distortion characteristics are sufficient to meet the needs of most loudspeakers and applications.
This Topping PA7 provides dual input connectors. There is an XLR/jack 6.35mm TRS combo for balanced transmission, and a stereo RCA input for unbalanced transmission.
The Topping E70 and E70 Velvet devices have preamplifier functions, and use exactly the same design language as the Topping PA7 series amplifiers, and the signal can be transmitted between the DAC and the amplifier via XLR, balanced TRS or RCA cables.
You can control the volume from the PA7, or set it to bypass its volume control. You can also use a better preamp for volume control.
This Topping PA7 features a 12V trigger input, so you can connect to other devices and take advantage of the system's automatic on/off function instead.
