The NEO S is an all-in-one device with functions such as HiFi digital music decoding, streaming playback, headphone amplifier functions and movie playback. It inherits the craftsmanship of NEO X with thick aluminum chassis with 5-inch OLED display. It also integrates SSD, dual ES9068 dual DAC, dual digital/analog power supply modules and toroidal power supply.
The Zidoo NEO S is equipped with a 256G high-speed SSD for local music playback. High quality music files can be stored easily, data reading is stable and fast. This avoids the heating and noise problem of traditional mechanical hard disk.
The 5-inch OLED high-definition colorful touch screen has a beautiful integrated full-screen design. Practical operations can be performed with the collaboration of the pot, such as audio source switching, volume adjustment, system setting and playback status display.
NEO S firstly uses two ES9068 DACs as the core of the audio decoding. The two-channel audio is decoded independently to avoid interference and obtain better SNR and dynamic range. Supports up to DSD512, PCM768 @ 32bit and 8 times three-layer expanded MQA encoding format hardware decoding.
The Zidoo NEO S is a perfect solution for PC HiFi enthusiasts. The USB DAC input supports asynchronous digital signal processing that can be used as a sound card when connected to PC. It is also a professional USB DAC for IOS / Android phones or tablets via OTG.
The NEO S features a headphone amplifier with balanced 4.4mm and 6.35mm outputs. The fully balanced voltage design and gradually amplified current provide a high-current boost. Two gain modes make it compatible with headphones of different impedances. The sound quality is comparable to a dedicated desktop headphone amplifier.
The NEO S is equipped with XMOS chip and supports asynchronous transmission. It supports up to DSD512 with native DSD, DXD and 768 kHz / 32-bit PCM. It features high-precision dual clock oscillators for 44.1 KHz and 48 KHz multiplier sampling that effectively suppresses jitter and ensures more accurate audio decoding.

The NEO S adopts the A55 64-bit hexa-core RTD1619 DR processor. In addition to an efficient and stable system, it is also equipped with 4K UHD processing and decoding technology. BD UHD Blu-ray discs and self-made media files are supported, and up to 3840 x 2160 60Hz, HDR and wide BT.2020 range are supported.
The NEO S supports not only HDR10 and high dynamic range HLG, but also advanced HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technology.
