The slim and narrow design of the PHANTOM M-250 has been developed for multi-channel recessed installations. Offering spacious, room-filling DALI sound in your home theater, without overpowering the physical space of your living room.
All DALI loudspeakers are designed for wide dispersion. This optimizes off-axis audio reproduction and is a perfect technology for in-wall or in-wall installation of loudspeakers.
One of the goals of the PHANTOM S and M models is to create high-end flush-mount loudspeakers with a narrow design that allows maximum installation flexibility. DALI has achieved this by providing them with enclosure depths of only 100-103mm, which fits into most standard walls.
The front grill, magnetic and floating, shapes the visual presence of PHANTOM S and M. The simple, discreet and bite-sized Nordic design is non-intrusive and, at the same time, pleasing to the eye.
The PHANTOM M-250 has proven technology, decades of experience and many of the virtues of the reference PHANTOM M range. The PHANTOM M series has a more compact aesthetic and more affordable prices.
The PHANTOM M-250 has been developed to be part of multichannel systems, either as front, center or surround. But since this loudspeaker complies with DALI sound principles, it also works perfectly in a traditional stereo configuration - with or without a subwoofer.
The DALI PHANTOM M-250 features two 5.25" wood-fiber woofers, designed with a very "flat" cone geometry to increase the volume in the enclosure.
Each driver is configured for the model for which it is intended. This optimizes the bass drivers for long excursion and the midrange driver for a wide and useful frequency range. So the roll-off is left to the crossover, not the driver.
The oversized 28mm tweeter of the PHANTOM M-250 is manufactured in DALI's factory with attention to detail for maximum dynamics, high power handling and fantastic integration with midrange frequencies.
The diaphragm is constructed with an ultra-lightweight fabric wave. Compared to most soft dome tweeters on the market, the DALI dome material weighs less than half as much (0.060 mg per mm2). The relatively large diaphragm size allows the tweeter to generate a higher sound pressure level, leaving voice coil movement to a minimum.
The front baffle and edge of the phantom M-250 are lacquered in matte black, and you won't find any glossy details on the front. This facilitates seamless integration with any home theater, where as a user you don't want light from the projector reflecting anywhere but the screen image.
The slim front grill visor, which is magnetic and fully paintable, allows for zero intrusive aesthetics in the room.
