The Hifiman Audivina offers the spacious soundstage of an acoustically perfect concert hall, but with the detail and intimacy of a jazz club, thanks to the NEO Supernano Diaphragm, Stealth Magnet Design and a curved resonance chamber that is the finishing touch of advanced acoustic design.

The resonance chamber design was inspired by the respected acoustic architecture of the Bayreuth Theater Festival in Germany, whose multi-stage attenuation contributes to the listener's experience of hearing a large, detailed soundstage in a small, enclosed space. The sound takes a circuitous route through the chamber, creating a wide soundstage beyond what is normally associated with similarly priced products.

Unlike sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the unique shape of Stealth Magnets allows the waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference.

Hifiman's advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent, which drastically reduces wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of sound waves. Reduced distortion produces a pure sonic output that is accurate and full-range.

The new NsD is 80% thinner than previous designs, resulting in a faster, more detailed response while retaining a lush musicality never before possible. With a thickness of between 1 and 2 microns, the NsD diaphragm sets all standards.

Most headphones feature a diffuse field design that leads to a lack of bass, so they are primarily used in limited applications such as playback.

However, Audivina's full-range output eliminates resonance and introverted sound, making it the ideal replacement for a large loudspeaker when mixing and mastering.

Accurately capturing a chamber string quartet is one of the biggest dilemmas in the studio. The significant difference in volume between the violins and cello, combined with the erratic nature of the viola summing, makes it a challenge to get the mix right. But, thanks to AUDIVINA's wide frequency response and superior dynamics, it is up to the task of reviewing the mix and helping the engineer achieve the precise equalization and overall presentation of a string quartet.

The hardwood constructed cavity is exquisitely lacquered and feels like jade to the touch. Through the surface of the varnish, naturally formed pores are visible to the naked eye.
