Topping DX9, 15 years of celebration with a powerful DAC/Amp

The Topping DX9 is the firm's most powerful DAC/Amplifier and the brand's new flagship for the celebration of its 15th anniversary. 

It has an innovative design, through which you can see the entire interior with the chips and components among which the AKM AK4499EQ DAC stands out, and achieve a performance of 131dB and a THD+N less than 0 .0007%.

In addition, it has Bluetooth 5.1 aptX and LDAC decoding capacity, for high-quality wireless transmission. 

High performance components

The Topping DX9 mounts the 4-channel AK4499EQ DAC chip. This chip achieves superior performance with THD+N figures of less than 0.00007% and a dynamic range of 131dB. This allows the DX9 to support sample rates up to PCM 32-bit and 768kHz, even DSD512

The AK4499EQ DAC features an AK4118AEQ SPDIF/optical signal receiver chip for perfect reception on all digital and AES/EBU inputs. 

Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC and aptX HD

The Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 chip offers ultra-high performance and works with high-quality wireless codecs such as aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC. This chip is also 32-bit Low Energy to guarantee lower and more stable power consumption.

Headphone amplifier circuit (NFCA)

The headphone amplifier circuit is based on 6 discrete component modules with six NFCA channels and 39 transistors. The amplifier circuit uses a balanced and unbalanced interface independently to reduce noise and distortion. With the Topping DX9 you can control all types of headphones thanks to its power figures of 2 x 7000mW@32 Ohms and a THD+N of less than 0.00009%.

Hybrid volume control

The volume control is made up of a network of resistors coupled to different relays for an unrivaled degree of precision. The relay circuit is used with a digital control interface to protect the DX9 from possible interference.

Spectacular aesthetics

The Topping DX9 stands out for its modern and futuristic aesthetics. The rounded curves combine perfectly with its color screen and its outstanding Aurora UI interface, for a unique user experience. 

At the top of the device, there is a transparent plate that allows you to see inside the amplifier/DAC. In addition, it includes the Topping 15th anniversary badge.
