Given its ultra-compact size, the OBERON 1 is the smallest addition to the OBERON series. The chassis size enables an optimal balance between optimized internal volume for bass performance, and a tight chassis design for small rooms, discrete audio installations or wall mounting. Like its larger siblings, OBERON 1 uses the ultra-lightweight, oversized 29mm dome tweeter to drive the highs and detailed mids.
While the woofer's 5.25' wood-fiber SMC brings out the lower midrange and well-timed performance. With the launch of the DALI OBERON loudspeaker series, we chose the best components from our loudspeakers and brought them together in a series that offers audio quality, looks and versatility.

To achieve a wide dispersion in the listening area, the driver materials and geometry in the OBERON 1 have been carefully selected.
The same principle has been applied to the crossover design. As a result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even while listening off-axis.This is important as we are rarely sitting directly in front of the speakers when listening to music.
An added benefit is that it reduces harmonic distortion and diffractions that cause frequency distortion, which will make it louder in off-axis response. This is another reason why all DALI loudspeakers are not designed to be embedded.
