The stylish DALI OPTICON 6 MK2 columns are where DALI's revamped Hybrid Tweeter module is introduced, simultaneously combining the capabilities of both soft dome and ribbon models.
This module offers a significant advance in high frequency resolution and has been enhanced for the OPTICON MK2 range by incorporating the 29mm dome tweeter found in CALLISTO active enclosures with a 17 x 45mm ribbon tweeter in a redesigned aluminum faceplate.
The bass and midrange of the OPTICON 6 MK2 is handled by twin 6½" drivers with wood fiber diaphragm, featuring SMC magnet bass/mid drivers.
OPTICON 6 MK2 offers optional bi-wiring to enable independent connection of its bass/mid and high frequency sections.
Thanks to its twin drivers, Dual Flare reflex loading and the highest possible internal volume thanks to its floor-standing enclosure allow the OPTICON 6 MK2 to achieve significantly more low frequency extension than the single models in the range.
In addition, this brilliant bass reproduction is coupled with the clear midrange and crisp, controlled treble characteristic of DALI's Hybrid Tweeter.
OPTICON 6 MK2 has an aluminum foot that is complemented by either black chrome-plated decoupling tips or, if installed on delicate surfaces, vibration-damping feet.
The tools to attach the feet of choice are included as standard.
