The Topping DX7 Pro+ is the new version of the acclaimed DX7 Pro. This new model features an improved architecture with upgraded components for superb all-round device performance.
In addition to its internal part, the DX7 Pro+ is also modernized on the outside, with a design based on smoother and more eye-catching curved edges, thus matching any of your headphones.
The Topping DX7 Pro+ incorporates an ESS SABRE ES9038Pro DAC, taking advantage of the 32-bit HyperStream architecture, for high-end audio performance.
Each channel of the DX7 PRO+ is connected in parallel, using four channels of the DAC chip to deliver rich, accurate and detailed sound reproduction.
For the launch of the Topping DX7 Pro+, the company has developed a completely new I/V conversion circuit designed to achieve the best sound quality with very low distortion and noise, while taking up less space.
The NFCA headphone amplifier of the DX7 Pro+ has been optimized for this model. Its good power reserve allows for superb performance with high sensitivity IEMs and high impedance headphones.
With its two gain modes, you will be able to move the most demanding headphones and reach the desired volume.
The DX7 Pro+ features two balanced 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm jack outputs on the front panel, as well as an unbalanced 6.35mm jack output.
The line output of the DX7 Pro+ is balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA. It is possible to select only the XLR output with "XLR Only" mode or RCA with "RCA Only" mode, as well as to activate both simultaneously: XLR+RCA.
Thanks to the I2S input using HDMI connectivity, the device transmits a direct signal to the DAC and supports PCM streams up to 32 bits at 768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512.
The USB input of the device is no slouch. It features 8-core XMOS XU208 interface, compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. It also supports high-resolution audio streams, up to 32-bit PCM, 768kHz and DSD512.
This Topping DX7 Pro+ allows you to stream music via Bluetooth with excellent sound quality. This chip supports high-definition aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC protocols, making it possible to achieve or even surpass CD quality wirelessly.
By borrowing the specific sound signature of tube and transistor audio systems, Topping has created a system that allows to simulate them within a single device. It is therefore possible to take advantage of three different listening modes: standard, tube and transistor.
The 12V Trigger input and output of the DX7 Pro+ is an ultra-practical feature that allows active control and passive control to be configured. Using a single 3.5mm jack cable, this topping can be automatically turned on and off in full synchronization with other 12V trigger interface equipped devices.
